Blackheath bar approved by Lewisham Council

Plans for a new bar’s licence in Blackheath Village have been approved by Lewisham Council.

As covered on this site last month, Ornithology Bars and Restaurants Ltd sought a licence for 14 Royal Parade which was formerly home to Yield Gallery.

After a meeting held on 22 January a decision has now been published by Lewisham Council approving the licence:

“The decision of the Sub-Committee is to grant the premises licence for the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises; for the provision of live music; for the provision of recorded music and for late night refreshment.”

The bar and restaurant can open until midnight Sunday to Wednesday and 1am Thursday to Saturday though that doesn’t mean they will necessarily do so.

Live music times were initially the same though after objections that’s been reduced to cease by 10pm.
