Church van set ablaze in suspected Thamesmead arson attack

A can used to take people to church was set on fire overnight in Thamesmead.

The incident occurred on Wolvercote Road. Residents state this the second arson in the past week in the area.

If you saw anything contact police on 101.

Running a site alone takes time and a fair bit of money. Adverts are far from enough to cover it and my living costs as a private renter.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.

    • This is terrible news why do people feel the need to do this and pick on vulnerable people who use the mini bus is beyond me. There really is no need for this kind of behaviour.
