New homes proposed in Sidcup

An application has been made to build a small block of flats in Sidcup beside Harvester.

A five-storey block would include 12 flats next to a similar block. A former office building west of that was recently converted to residential use and extended with two additional floors taking it up to five.

Proposed new block

The site is a short walk to Sidcup High Street to the west and a quick bus ride to New Eltham or Sidcup stations.

A total of 7 off-street car parking spaces including two Blue Badge spaces are proposed.

The current building was built for office use and is about as non-descript as architecture gets.

A development similar in appearance next door was designed by the same architects KHD.

  • If the old office block is going to remain empty and unused. Then it makes sense to redevelop the site in to new homes .
Hopefully the planning application process will not take too long..
