Track fault at Canary Wharf blocks Elizabeth line

The Elizabeth line is currently out of service on the south east branch due to a track fault at Canary Wharf.

Transport for London state “No service between Whitechapel and Canary Wharf while we fix a points failure at Canary Wharf.”

Severe delays can be seen on the rest of the network.

TfL buses will accept ticket holders across the route.

  • The Elizabeth Line is also getting 10 more Class 345 trains to increase more extra capacity on the Elizabeth Line. With some to still use Liverpool Street high level and Paddington high level stations coming to & from Shenfield, Gidea Park, Reading, Maidenhead, Heathrow T4 and Hayes & Harlington at peak times.
