Serious accident closes A2 London-bound

The A2 has been closed in the Bexley area after a serious incident.

Emergency services are on scene with traffic backing up some miles in the London-bound direction.

An air ambulance has landed nearby with the incident between Bexley and the M25.

Police state they were called at 8:08am to the incident involving three vehicles.
