Long queues on A2 from Kidbrooke as road partly closed

There is heavy congestion from Kidbrooke’s A2 junction back towards Greenwich this afternoon.

A vehicle break down at the junction has hampered traffic flow on the A2 and A102.

One lane is now believed to be open though miles of queues have built up in the Kent-bound direction.

UPDATE: Queues now extend back from Eltham towards the Blackwall Tunnel.
