Housing plan for site near Lower Sydenham station
Plans are in to Lewisham Council to build a block of flats in Lower Sydenham.
It’s a relatively small ten flat block though does join some larger developments in the area. Kallarview Construction Limited are behind the proposal.
The site on Southend Lane isn’t too far from Lower Sydenham railway station which has seen hundreds of homes built or now rising.
Weston Home are currently building the next 164 homes at a former Dylon factory site. Hundreds more homes have recent been built beside the station.

Over by the large retail parks to the north and Bellway are now constructing 260 homes at a former gasworks. It’s beside the Grade II listed Livesey Memorial Hall.
Further new housing should ensure growth continues at Lower Sydenham station served by Southeastern metro service to Hayes.
In the most recent figures Lower Sydenham saw the largest annual growth with a 12 per cent increase.

At least Lower Sydenham railway station will see more people traveling into Central London on Southeastern metro services to London Bridge, Charing Cross and Cannon Street stations. With new development and apartments being built. Mind you it could have been called Southend (London) as the station serves the area of Southend.
