According to reports before the council meeting which will be held this Friday, the bar was found to be open at 1am when its licence states midnight closing. When question they stated they hasn’t time to apply for a Temporary Events Notice (TEN).

Adverts in the window also announced a licence 2am as did their website according to reports.

Complaints

Complaints were made in early November 2026 about the venue with a subsequent visit in mid November:

“At approximately 01:00 hours on Sunday the 16th November 2025, Metropolitan Police officers noted that the premises were open and trading and were playing loud music for the patrons inside the venue.

“On asking the Manager if he had consent to be trading at this time, he stated they hadn’t had time to apply for an extension, confirming his awareness or the requirement”.

A decision on what and any action will be decided after the meeting this Friday.
