Greenwich Christmas lantern parade to the market returns this month
A lantern parade in Greenwich to welcome in the festive season is being held in Greenwich later this month.
The Lantern Parade and Christmas Lights switch-on will be held on Wednesday 19 November 2025 between 4pm – 6pm.
The market will be open from 10am – 6pm that day.
The parade starts at 4pm as the sun sets with local schoolchildren carrying handmade lanterns. It then passes through Greenwich arriving at the market where at 5pm the Christmas Lights are switched-on.
The market stays open an hour more until 6pm with festive music.
