Elizabeth line suspended in core section

There are no Elizabeth line services this evening rush hour due to a major signal fault.

Services are not running in between Paddington to Abbey Wood as well as Stratford to Whitechapel on the Shenfield branch.

Delays could last some time according to TfL and Network Rail.

Tickets are being accepted on London buses, Southeastern between Abbey Wood and London Terminals, Thameslink between Farringdon and Abbey Wood, the Underground, Greater Anglia trains between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street.

Trains between Shenfield and London Paddington will begin and end at London Liverpool Street.

It’s not been a great day for transport . The Woolwich ferry has been suspended all day for a fault while late running works led to Jubilee line problems earlier today.

I have been on the Elizabeth Line 13 times and went from Shenfield to Reading, Maidenhead, Heathrow Terminal 5, Terminal 4 and Abbey Wood (via changing at Whitechapel). Would be nice if you could continue on to Reading without having to change trains at Paddington when coming from Shenfield.
