M25 closed due to unsafe bridge: Queue back to Dartford

The M25 has been closed this morning around Junction 3 at Swanley due to an unsafe bridge.

National Highways (recently rebranded from Highways England) have contractors repairing the structure.

It couldn’t be at a more inconvenient spot, given junction 3 is where the M25 meets with the M20.

Clockwise traffic is backing up from Swanley to Dartford and beyond into Essex.
