Air Ambulance lands in Abbey Wood after incident on travellers site

An air ambulance has landed at Boxgrove School in Abbey Wood this afternoon after an incident at Thislebrook camp.

Witnesses report seeing police covered in blood at a nearby house. Police state they were called around 3pm to Thistlebrook amid reports of an assault.

Police and paramedics attended the scene. There have been no arrests.

Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101.
