Yep, sorry again but here’s another post asking readers to support the site. Only two weeks after the last as well. But it’s a massive help and reglar notifications seem to help, so sorry but it’s almost need’s must.

As for why; well costs for running the site aren’t free. To keep the website going and host photograpths costs £37 a month, and I’m fully independent and not part of any wider organisation. Also my rent is bloody expensive each month.
Then there’s other costs. I’m still paying for WordPress redirect costs before I started paying for my own URL and hosting fees to give one recent example. Lots of fees pop up. Plug-in costs? Site layout via a Theme? Same story.
Not a big issue for big sites but for an independent an ever ongoing cost.
Running costs get no lower (hosting fees, redirection costs, photo storage et al) and ad revenue is now negligible. Down about 70 per cent in four years despite page views being the same.
Hence the only thing that makes it sustainable is direct reader support.
If you do or have supported it’s much appreciated, and allows me the time to head out and about taking photos of various areas, as well as undertake research for upcoming posts.
With the cost of living getting no better and my rent being very high (being a private renter means much of my income goes out on rent each month) any support is great.

Will you continue to post more of your stuff on your website. I do like your website and I hope it does continue. I used to comment on Ianvisits website but sadly my comment doesn’t get shown on his website no I have tried to comment on some of his articles.
