Tickets normally cost £24 for adults and £12 for children but that drops to a flat rate of £10 per person whether an adult or child.

Just in time then for government to initiate rail cuts through Greenwich from July by ordering “savings” which include cutting a Thameslink train each hour on the route from Luton to Rainham ensuring gaps of 30 minutes between trains, and yep, that includes Southeastern services. Remaining services are lopsided and run closer together rather than at somewhat even intervals.
The longest gap between trains seen at the station during the day in decades. Just a decade ago trains ran every 10 minutes through Greenwich during the day offering a “turn up and go” service level.
