The Catford House opening this month at former Constitutional Club site

The Catford House is set to open later this month in the former Catford Constitutional Club site.

Work has been underway renovating the building with the Greenwich Co-operative Development Agency (GCDA) set to operate the site upon reopening.

Brewery Portobello will provide the beers for the venue. An update on the venue’s website today shows the first barrels have arrived. Staff training is underway.

According to Lewisham Council “visitors can look forward to the restored pub and garden, a new community kitchen, flexible smaller spaces and Catford’s oldest building, the original Georgian Hall, opening to the public for the first time.”

Opening is projected in the second half of November though no exact date has been given. As soon as one does emerge I’ll add details.

Refurbishment and renovation works have been led by Hayatsu Architects.
