Belvedere could see storage unit on approved housing site
Plans have been submitted to build a storage unit at land in Belvedere Park.
Belvedere Park contains a Travelodge, Lidl, The Morgan pub alongside hundreds of homes.
The proposed unit would sit near Starbucks and previously saw an application for 104 homes more than five years ago.
A revised application later in 2020 was approved in 2023. Nothing has been built by Housing Association Optivo who are now part of Southern Housing.
There’s conflicting information about a water pipe and pumping station in the area. Back in 2020 it was stated those obstacles had been overcome. Now this application claims otherwise.
