Bar plans in Sidcup submitted

A planning application has been submitted to Bexley Council for a new wine bar in Sidcup.

It’s at a former shop unit at 29 The Oval previously home to All Sorts and would be named Cellar 89.

According to the application the operator states: “The proposal seeks to introduce a wine bar offering a selection of fine wines and light (cold pre-prepared) bites, with a focus on a relaxed, social atmosphere.

“The building will undergo minimal alterations to accommodate the new use, and careful consideration has been given to maintaining the character of the existing building and its relationship to the surrounding area.”

Seating for between 30 and 50 people is proposed.

  • Excellent why not have a wine bar. Not everyone wants to be In large noisy pubs.
I believe this also the reason micro pubs lso tend to fo well. You can enjoy your favourite tipple in a more relaxed atmosphere.
