It’s a small increase from around 200 homes previously suggested.

The site is one of a number of plots due for development. To the north Bexley Council plan to build housing.

Further north is Peabody land long cleared along Harrow Manorway.

A short distance away is Lyndean industrial estate where 600 homes have been talked about but no firm plans.

Aanother site is a proposed hotel and housing at the junction between Harrow Manorway and Eynsham Drive.

This isn’t a full planning application for the site at 4-8 Sedgemere Road as yet. This latest submissions is a screening opinion with the applicant suggesting a new Environmental Impact Assessment isn’t needed.

Running a site alone takes time and a fair bit of money. Adverts are far from enough to cover it and my living costs as a private renter.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.

    • If Peabody wants to build more new homes and flats in and around London then they should help with the ongoing problem with homeless people across the capital.
