Lewisham signal problems halt Southeastern trains

Southeastern trains are being delayed in the Lewisham area today due to signal problems.

According to the excellent Realtimetrains some services have been held for up to an hour.

The area has recently seen other signal problems. It follows a multi-million pound upgrade in the area recently undertaken by Network Rail.

Southeastern state tickets are being accepted on the DLR and buses.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
