Shooters Hill Hungry Horse pub The Fox Under The Hill set for revamp

A branch of Hungry Horse owned by brewer Greene King on Shooters Hill is set for a revamp.

Recently submitted plans show a substantial change on the exterior and a removal of Hungry Horse branding.

The brand was launched in 1995 and the Shooters Hill site still has the original logos dating from around that time. It’s one of a number of Greene King brands for their many sites.

Older branding is currently prominent on the building’s frontage but that’s all gone in the new frontage. In its place is new signage and a green colour scheme.

It’s still on the website though. Hungry Horse sites is as much focused on eating as it is drinking and is Greene King’s family and food oriented brand. They even have indoor softplay areas.

It’s been some years since I visited the Shooters Hill site but the size of their plates used to be a thing. A lot of food for not much money.

Details of the changed exterior can be seen here.
