Silvertown development Lyle Park West sees action on site

There have been signs of life at a long disused patch of empty land beside West Silvertown DLR station.

This is Lyle Park West which saw plans for 252 homes approved in March 2020.

L&Q are behind the development.

It’s another major development along the Woolwich Arsenal branch of the DLR, situated directly beside West Silvertown where photos were taken.

The site is not too far from Custom House for the Elizabeth line. A new bridge is due to be installed over the dock as part of the 6,500-home Silvertown Quays development down the road.

That structure will replace the elevated bridge which currently exists.

A number of other major developments are either under way or proposed along the line, including the 800-home Deanston Wharf nearing completion.
