Large fire breaks out in Royal Docks

A large fire has broken out in the Royal Docks this morning near Royal Victoria DLR station.

Smoke is evident for miles around after the blaze broke out in a house. The London Fire Brigade state: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters have been called to reports of a fire in Pollard Close, Canning Town.

“The Brigade was called at 1014.

“Fire crews from Plaistow, Poplar, East Ham and Millwall stations are at the scene.”

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
