Woolwich town centre business hit by fire

The Bagel Boss takeaway in Woolwich suffered a fire this morning.

The unit is located at the junction of Woolwich High Street and Hare Street, with roads closed for a period this morning.

Remnant of earlier closures

London Fire Brigade have now vacated the site and roads have reopened, with buses back on route.

The fire doesn’t look to have caused too much problems, from the outside at least.

Still, it’s a big shame as Bagel Boss always seemed popular. Hopefully they can bounce back soon.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
