New Eltham: Woman in life-threatening condition after being hit by lorry

A pedestrian is in life threatening condition after being hit by a lorry in New Eltham.

The incident occurred near shops on Footscray Road.

It occurred at 2:35pm this afternoon (Friday 9th December) with emergency services including the Air Ambulance team on scene.

Anyone who saw the incident, has dash cam footage or can help call on 101 quoting ref CAD 3868/9 Dec

The road is closed with many buses on diversion.
