Man in hospital after Woolwich stabbing tonight
A man is in hospital after a stabbing in Woolwich tonight (Wednesday 28th September).
The attack occurred on Brookhill Road which leads from the Tesco superstore up to Nightingale Road.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 101 and quote reference 5568/29SEP.
Information can also be provided to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
The man entered hospital after the stabbing which was believed to have occurred around 5:30pm.
Met Police have implemented a Section 60 notice in the immediate area.
A Section 60 CJPO Act & Section 60AA has been authorised by Inspector Evans in the Woolwich area following a violent incident involving a knife along Brookhill Road, SE18.
