Teen raped in Abbey Wood
A 17 year old has been raped in an alley way near Wilton Road shops in Abbey Wood.
The alley was closed yesterday after the incident at 1:55am on Monday 25 April.
No arrests have yet been made.
The alleyway is pretty notorious locally. I’ve witnessed a robbery myself some years ago.
It’s dark and dingy but is the direct route from some areas of housing to shops and Abbey Wood station.
Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101.

Let’s all hope the culprit is caught soon and the appropriate actions taken by both the Police and Courts.
The Alley Way needs lighting installed or improved. We need more CCTV around the Borough and known crime hotspots which are monitored 24 hours a day.
