Electric charging station coming soon in Charlton

An electric charging station is under construction near retail parks in Charlton.

Upon completion they’re be space for six vehicle at the junction of Ramac Way and Woolwich Road.

The station joins another recently opened by Transport for London beside the Woolwich ferry a couple of miles east.

Fastned are behind the Charlton plan, with fast charging for six vehicles designed for 15-20 minutes usage.

  • We do need more electric car charging points around the Borough. Electric charging stations like this are a great idea. Will the station be monitored to ensure everyone gets a fair share of time to charge their cars.
