Barrier fault closes Blackwall Tunnel
There’s very heavy traffic this morning after a break down then a reported barrier fault has caused the closure of the Blackwall Tunnel northbound.
A broken down vehicle caused the first blockage. That was apparently cleared with a barrier fault then closing one of two lanes.
Traffic is backed up for some miles down the A102 and A2 to Kidbrooke through Greenwich and Blackheath. Traffic across Greenwich is slow moving.
