Stabbing in Woolwich Premier Inn – area tapped off

There is a large emergency services presence around Woolwich’s Premier Inn after a stabbing tonight (4 Dec).

Police have tapped off an area near the hotel and witnesses report seeing an injured man.

Update: Police state a man was stabbed inside. He does not have life threatening injuries.

The incident follows a stabbing on 24th November near Marks & Spencer and Barclays Bank.

In addition, Woolwich saw a double shooting this past week.

There have also been reports of some sort of altercation in the area near Premier Inn last night. Any witnesses can assist by calling 101 quoting reference 5198/04Dec
