Shots fired in Bexleyheath as police appeal for help

Police were called to Halcot Avenue in Bexleyheath this afternoon after reports of gunshots.

Police confirmed that shots were fired amid local reports of a number of loud bangs, and have asked for any witnesses to come forwards. They found no injured person.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
