Teen tasered in Eltham as 15 year old girl stabbed

Police have arrested a male teenager this afternoon after a 15 year old was stabbed near Eltham Hill school and Mecca Bingo.

The school has stated it did not happen on their grounds. The victim’s injuries are not life threatening. A taser was discharged during the arrest.

The school states:

“Dear parents and families,

“I am writing to let you know there was a very serious incident outside Eltham Hill School at the end of the school day today.

Mecca Bingo in Eltham

“A young man wearing a mask attacked one of our students by the Bingo Hall as she was leaving school and obviously other students who witnessed this were extremely frightened.

“The young man was carrying a knife and one of our members of staff along with a member of the public managed to get the knife of him.

“Our student is injured but is going to be fine and is receiving medical attention.

“The person responsible ran off but is now in police custody and the police investigation is ongoing.”

Witnesses can assist by calling police on 101.

  • Firstly well done to the brave teacher and member of the public who managed to get the knife off the young man othewise the girls injuries could have been much worse.

    We need permanent stop and search introduced on the streets of London .24 hours a day 7 days a week a long with much tougher sentencing by the courts, we have all got to work together to get these terrible crimes of our streets.

    I hope the victim makes a full recovery and in time can get over this ordeal. My thoughts are with the other students staff and members of the public who witnesses this attack,.
