Man stabbed at Woolwich Dockyard station

Police are looking for witnesses after a man suffered stab wounds this afternoon at Woolwich Dockyard station.

Police state:
Officers are appealing for information after a man was found with what appears to be a stab wound earlier today (Saturday 21 March 2020).

At just after 1pm, BTP officers were called to a report of a man believed to have been stabbed on a train at Woolwich Dockyard Station.

The London Ambulance Service has taken the victim to hospital, where he is being treated for what is currently believed to be none life threatening injuries.

Police are asking that anyone who was at or around Woolwich Dockyard Railway Station, or on the train, and saw anything suspicious to please get in touch.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or with information should contact BTP by sending a text to 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 – quoting reference 192 of 21/03/20.
