Serious accident closes Thamesmead road

A serious accident on a roundabout between Eastern Way, Western Way and Central Way in Thamesmead is causing disruption on the roads this morning.

A vehicle is lying upside down in the centre of the roundabout. TfL say buses are diverted:

Queues back up towards Belvedere on Eastern Way with traffic diverted via Nathan Way.
