Woman stabbed in Thamesmead

A woman in her 40s has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Thamesmead today on the Moorings estate.

The attack happened on Titmuss Avenue with an Air Ambulance landing at Windrush Primary School.

Her injuries have since been assessed as not life-threatening.

Police are looking for witnesses. Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting CAD 1916/06JAN or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
