Fatal crash in Crayford

A serious accident occurred last night in Crayford near Booker Cash and Carry on Thames Road dual carriageway.

An 18 year old was killed in the crash.

Detective Sergeant Jose Qureshi from the Met Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I am appealing for anyone who was in the area of Thames Road and who either saw the moments leading up to the collision, or the collision itself, to come forward.

“A young man has lost his life and we are working hard to piece together what happened.”

The road is closed while investigations continue.

It has been a very bad time for road accidents in recent days with serious incidents in Bromley, Blackheath and now Crayford.
