Emergency services attend incident at Kidbrooke station

Emergency services have been called to Kidbrooke station blocking the Eltham and Bexleyheath line after a person was seen “sitting on tracks”.

Numerous emergency sevrice vehicles rushed to the site with the person seen receiving help after trains were stopped.

Southeastern have stated trains are diverted where possible (some other lines closed for engineering work) and passengers can use tickets on buses.

UPDATE: Trains now returning to normal.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
