Four arrested and officer headbutted after Sidcup Morrisons raided

Four teenagers were arrested over the weekend after breaking into Morrisons in Sidcup.

An alarm and staff on site notified police who found the four had used a trolley before smashing into the shop. Not the most subtle of burglaries.

Police caught the geniuses on nearby Sidcup High Street. Whilst being arrested one officer was headbutted. This follows an assault on an officer in Deptford over the weekend.

Assaults on police have risen from 23,000 a year to 26,000 in just two years.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
