Drivers head wrong way down dual carriageway to avoid queues in Thamesmead

A crash has closed Central Way in Thamesmead this afternoon near KFC causing disruption and bus diversions.

And to compound problems some drivers have also been seen heading over the central reservation then driving head-on and continuing against the flow of traffic.

Yep, not even doing u-turns but heading the wrong way to a roundabout.

At least two cars were captured driving through a pedestrian crossing on the wrong side of the dual carriageway whilst emergency services were attending to the scene.
