Men jailed for string of moped-related shop robberies including Woolwich
Three men have been jailed for a string of moped-enabled robberies of mobile phone shops across south and south east London including EE stores in Woolwich and Bromley last August.
£50,000 worth of stock was stolen. One of the three was arrested when tasered at one robbery. On 11 September another was arrested “outside his home address where he attempted to flee but was caught and detained.”
On 13 September the third “was arrested by Operation Venice officers outside his home addresses.”
The convicted men were:
- Troy Adolfess, 24 (11.03.94) of Hamilton Road, Thornton Heath -two-and-a-half years’ imprisonment.
- George Ventham, 23 (30.04.95) of Carshalton Road, Sutton was sentenced to two-and-a-half years’ imprisonment for conspiracy to commit burglary and a further eight months for possession with intent to supply cannabis which he had pleaded guilty to – these sentences will run consecutively
- Reece Raymond Roy Buttery, 23 (21.03.95) of Knights Hill, SE27 was sentenced to two-and-a-half years’ imprisonment.
