Dartford Crossing blocked and Rotherhithe Tunnel closed
It’s a bad day to cross the Thames east of Tower Bridge. What’s new you may say?
Well, the Rotherhithe tunnel is closed for emergency maintenance and an accident has blocked the Dartford Crossing.
The Woolwich Ferry is also still closed of course as upgrade work is now a month behind schedule.
Rotherhithe has been closed for around three hours now. Dartford has the east tunnel blocked with lorries believed to be involved in an accident.
Blackwall Tunnel approach from the south is very slow moving.
