Hundreds stuck on trains as signal failure blocks entire Woolwich & Bexleyheath lines
A large-scale failure of signalling has stopped the entire Woolwich and Bexleyheath line this morning.
Trains have been stuck across the network with passengers on board.
UPDATE: We are currently unable to move trains via Greenwich, Woolwich and Bexleyheath to and from #Dartford due to a signal failure. Apologies for the inconvenience.

The scale of disruption is one of the largest in recent history and has been ongoing for an hour.
Tickets are being accepted on buses, DLR and the Tube.
5PM UPDATE: Services have resumed but with delays and cancellations expected throughout the evening peak.
