Man shot in Brockley

A man was shot around 7:40pm last night on Turnham Road.

Residents called police after hearing the sounds of gunfire. Police attended but failed to locate the victim, who arrived at a hospital just over an hour later.

The victim is in a stable condition. No arrests have yet been made.

There were reports of a shooting nearby less than a month ago.
