Fire breaks out in Greenwich town centre tonight

A blaze has broken out in Greenwich Town Centre in the past half an hour.

Five fire engines are reported attending a fire at the Village Supermarket. People have been pictured being helped down from windows.

50 firefighters are on scene. The blaze is believed to have begun behind the shop in a shed.
