Southeastern lines blocked by broken down train in Dartford

A broken down train this afternoon rush hour has blocked trains running in the Dartford area.

Both the Woolwich and Bexleyheath lines are impacted with the company stating “The affected train is over a junction which means we are unable to get into Dartford from Woolwich/Bexleyheath lines at present”.

According to Southeastern the train broke down while leaving Dartford depot. To give an idea of current delays, one service is seemingly stuck and about 50 minutes late between Slade Green and Dartford at the time of writing.

Other trains may be diverted via the loop line to head back into London.

Thameslink services along the Woolwich line to Rainham via Dartford and Rochester are also impacted.

Southeastern state passengers may use their tickets on London Buses between Lewisham and Dartford.

  • I bet that also affected GTR Thameslink services that operates to Rainham and Gravesend to and from Luton and/or St. Albans City.
