New Woolwich restuarant opens at former Equitable site

A new Nepali restaurant is now open within the former Woolwich Equitable building on General Gordon Square.

It serves breakfast in the morning offering options such as eggs benedict and a full English plus an Indian option before Nepali and Indian meals later in the day.

Preparing to open

I was passing the site a couple of days back and popped by head in as final preparations were underway, with staff telling me it opens fully today.

Best of luck to them. The former occupant was the Woolwich Equitable pub run by Antic which closed some time ago, so it’s welcome to see the vacant site find a new business and reopen.

    Great news.
Offering a breakfast choice is a good move.
