Five in hospital after incident on Nathan Way in Thamesmead

Nathan Way in Thamesmead is currently closed after an incident overnight.

Reports indicate five people were taken for treatment and are in hospital.

The road is situated in Thamesmead near Plumstead and includes a number of industrial units as well as the currently rising 1,914-home Lombard Square development or what was known as West Thamesmead Gateway. the Ridgeway runs close by.

Bus route 301 passes along Nathan Way and TfL report:

“301 is on diversion in both directions via Western Way and Pettman Crescent due to an emergency services incident at Nathan Way. Bus stops between ‘Nathan Way / Eastern Way’ (U & R) and ‘Pettman Crescent’ (WS & P) will not be served. Please allow additional time for your journey.”

  • All tapped off earlier apparently some party or event and it kicked off. Don’ think there’s any place that legally puts on events down there? Nice one for putting Thamesmead as the location as the useless newsshopper think its plumstead. Hopeless rag
