Police incident shuts main entrance at Woolwich QE Hospital

An incident has seen police close the main entrance at Woolwich’s Queen Elizabeth hospital.

Lewisham and Greenwich Trust have warned people that an incident has seen police also close the road outside.

Stadium Road is also blocked to buses causing disruption. Diversions are in place.

Transport for London state:

“STADIUM ROAD, SE18: Routes on diversion in both directions due to an emergency services incident at Stadium Road. Buses are not serving the stops from ‘Shooters Hill Road / Well Hall Road’ to ‘Ha-Ha Road / Repository Road”

Routes impacted include 469, 161, 291, 178, 386 and 486.
