Sainsbury’s seek to open on Deptford High Street

Sainsbury’s are seeking to open on Deptford High Street at the site of Poundland.

The building at 124 Deptford High Street is located close to Deptford station exit, and has seen an application recently submitted to Lewisham Council.

Sainsbury’s have a site to the north on Creek Road though the Deptford High Street site is a prime spot for passing footfall.

The station has seen large growth over the past decade and is set to see more with future developments including at Tidemill school and a block on Creekside.

In future Convoys Wharf’s 3,500 homes will be located within walking distance of the station.
