Man arrested after Greenwich, Blackheath and Deptford rapes and attacks
Police have arrested a man suspected of sexual assault and rape after women were attacked in Greenwich, Deptford and Blackheath.
Last weekend a woman was assaulted on the footbridge from Odeon in Greenwich to Tunnel Avenue.
On Friday another attack occurred in Margaret McMillan park in Deptford.
Another assault was an attempted rape in Blackheath back in March. Police are keeping an open mind on whether this is linked.
The suspect was described as carrying a large rucksack with a number of zips which is possibly khaki or dark green.
