Elizabeth line timetable published by Transport for London

TfL have published the timetable for Crossrail upon services beginning next week (Tuesday 24 May).

For those who’ve painstakingly followed progress for years, clicked on Real time trains during testing and checked the Crossrail website’s journey time drop-down boxes for a decade little here is a surprise except timings of early and late trains.

From next week

Upon initial opening, the service starts later and finishes earlier than upon eventual full completion. The first train of the day departs Abbey Wood at 6:30am, with the first from Paddington at 6:33am.

Timings are 29 minutes to reach the other end of the line, with services every five minutes until the evening.

The last train of the night departs Paddington at 22:58 and Abbey Wood at 23:03.

Departures alter from every five minutes from Paddington to every 10 minutes from 22:23, with a 15 minute interval before the final train.

Abbey Wood has a 10 minute gap in departures from 21:55 until 22:05 then every five minutes until 22:35 until 22:55 with a 15 minute gap until the last train.

Abbey Wood to Canary Wharf will take 11 minutes, Liverpool Street 18 mins and Tottenham Court Road 24 minutes.

Running a site alone takes time and a fair bit of money. Adverts are far from enough to cover it and my living costs as a private renter.
